CALL FOR UNDERGRADUATE APPLICATIONS IN THE 1ST ROUND OF THE 2023/2024 ADMISSION CYCLE
The Deputy Provost for Academic Affairs – Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College invites all eligible applicants to apply for various Undergraduate programmes in the 2023/2024 admission cycle: –
A. Bachelor of Sciences in Health Laboratory Entry Requirements
- Direct entry: Three principal passes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 6
points: A minimum of C grade in Chemistry and D grade in Biology and at least an E grade in Physics.
- Equivalent entry: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of a “D” grade in the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and English at O-Level.
B. Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy Entry Requirements
- Direct entry: Three principal passes in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a minimum of 6 points: A minimum of C grade in Chemistry, and D grade in Biology, and at least an E grade in Physics.
- Equivalent entry: Diploma in Physiotherapy with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of
3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and English at O-Level
C. Doctor of Medicine Entry Requirements
- Direct entry: Three principal passes in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a minimum of 6
points: A minimum of D grade in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.
- Equivalent entry: Diploma in Clinical Medicine with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of
3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of a “D” grade in the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and English at O-Level.
D. Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing
Entry Requirements
- Direct entry: Three principal passes in Chemistry, Biology and either Physics or Mathematics or Nutrition with a minimum of 6 points; i.e. an applicant must have at least a C grade in Chemistry and at least a D grade in Biology and an E grade in Physics or Mathematics or Nutrition.
- Equivalent entry: Diploma in Nursing with an average of “B’’ or a minimum GPA of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a minimum of a “D” grade in the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and English at O-Level.
E. Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy Entry Requirements
- Direct entry: Three principal passes in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a minimum of 6
points: A minimum of C grade in Chemistry and D grade in Biology and at least an E grade in Physics.
- Equivalent entry: Diploma in Occupational Therapy with an average of “B” grade or a minimum of 3.0. In addition, an applicant must have a “D” grade in any of the following five
(5) subjects: Mathematics, Geography, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Nutrition, Economics, Engineering Science, Physical Science and English at O-Level.
