The Faculty of Medicine became operational on October 1st, 1997 as one of the first Faculties of the College offering three unique programmes which aim at producing bio-medical personnel equipped with necessary skills and competencies in health laboratory sciences

Objectives of the Faculty of Medicine.
  • To produce medical graduates with knowledge and skills in the field of Medicine at undergraduate, postgraduate, and super specialty levels.
  • To provide consultancy services to government, Non-Governmental Organizations, other institutions, and individuals.
  • To provide continuing medical education to health workers
  • To carry out research in order to advance medical knowledge and science for the benefit of human welfare.
General Admission Requirements.

All courses are taught in English. Therefore it is imperative that students are proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. It is upon the candidate to satisfy oneself that he/she meets this important requirement and provides evidence, therefore, registering for any course at this college.
